Monday Group
The Monday Group is designed to share the basics of biblical Christianity, the timeline of the biblical story, how biblical Christianity compares to other religions/belief systems, and how someone becomes a biblical Christian. We use true stories to explain biblical concepts. Guest speakers share their faith journeys to show how God is real, how He interacts with people, and how a personal relationship with Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God changed their lives.
The Monday Group is led by alumnus Fred Larmore ’74. Fred has led Bible Study groups for over twenty years at his church and Needle’s Eye Ministry in Richmond, Virginia. He has been a Trustee of Hampden-Sydney College, a Board Member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Capital Region), and is a member of the James Madison Society of H-SC.
